Nicola Gray

Nicola Gray is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at the University of Huddersfield, UK, with research and policy interests around young people’s health and wellbeing, the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases, health literacy, and the role of pharmacists in improving health and wellbeing. She received a Pharmaceutical Care Award (1999) as part of a team who created the first pharmacy-based emergency contraception service in England. She also was the recipient of a Harkness Fellowship in International Health Care Policy (USA, 2001-2002) and studied adolescents’ use of the Internet for health information. She has served as International Chapter president and board member of the US Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine and as a member of the UK Royal College of General Practitioners’ Adolescent Task Group. She is currently a trustee of the UK Association for Young People’s Health and a governing council member of NCD Child.
