Risa Turetsky

RN, MSN, FNP-BC, PHCNS, MPH

Risa Turetsky is the clinical operations manager for a public health clinic in rural Colorado in the U.S.A. Risa is a family nurse practitioner, fellowship prepared in adolescent health and with a masters in public health. She has dedicated her career to adolescent health and the health of vulnerable populations around the world, living and working in several low-income countries across the African continent and in the Pacific. She worked with Médecins sans Frontières (MSF), FHI360, Baylor College of Medicine International Pediatric AIDS Initiative, University of North Carolina, and others. Risa has served as Chapter President for the US-based Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine’s (SAHM) New York Chapter as well as on the Education Committee. She helped form the IAAH Education Committee before being selected as the North American Vice President.
