Risa Turetsky
RN, MSN, FNP-BC, PHCNS, MPH
Risa Turetsky is a family nurse practitioner. Having completed the LEAH fellowship in adolescent health and a masters degree in public health, she has dedicated her career to adolescent health and the health of vulnerable populations around the world. Through work with Médecins sans Frontières (MSF), FHI360, Baylor College of Medicine International Pediatric AIDS Initiative, University of North Carolina, and others, Risa has had the opportunity to live and work in several low/middle income countries across SubSaharan Africa and in the Pacific. Risa has served as Chapter President for the US-based Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine’s (SAHM) New York Chapter as well as Chair of the Education Committee. She helped to form the IAAH Education Committee before being selected as the North American Vice President. Risa currently works as a consultant.
