Catalyzing Connections - IAAH is on YouTube

Fully embracing the above statement and taking it one step further by narrowing the scope to provide diverse opportunities for early career professionals around the world, the IAAH Young Professionals Network (IAAH YPN) is happy to announce the development of the IAAH YouTube channel.
This channel, even though in its early infancy, was established to help further share knowledge, skills, and experiences of and with those working in adolescent health. Our hope is that by creating a digital space where young professionals interested in adolescent health and wellbeing can exchange ideas, learn new strategies and techniques, hear from adolescent health experts, and grow both academically and socially from anywhere in the world, will help to create a stronger sense of community among those serving adolescents globally.
In an effort to provide free training and educational opportunities, the IAAH YPN is developing a webinar series that is focusing on relevant adolescent health topics for students, trainees, and young professionals. Three videos – Global Adolescent Health Career Development • The Global Impact of COVID-19 on Adolescent Health and Education • Leadership on Adolescent Health – are already posted, with several other webinars in the works. “We are excited to have this new platform for sharing topics relevant to adolescent health with adolescent health professionals around the world,” said IAAH YPN Education and Training Co-Chairs, Franck Nziza, Melis Pehlivanturk-Kizilkan and Dyana Safitri Velies. “Using a platform such as YouTube to share these webinars provides an opportunity for anyone around the world to access this information at any time,” said Safitri Velies. “As people start finding and watching our YouTube channel, we hope that they also reach out to us (YPN) and suggest other topics or ideas that we could share,” stated Pehlivanturk-Kizilkan.
