Abstract and Workshop Submissions
Need to justify your trip to Peru? Consider submitting an abstract or workshop for the World Congress. Confirmed Speakers and Scientific Programme
Scientific Planning Committee Co-Chairs Jon Klein and María del Carmen Calle Dávila and the scientific committee are confirming speakers daily for the scientific programme. The Congress will offer a variety of keynotes, symposia, and workshops on topics to help us meet the challenges of global change for adolescent health and wellbeing. Speakers include IAAH President Susan Sawyer, SAHM President Maria Trent, and SAHM President-elect Jessica Kahn. They are joined by other eminent international commentators including Natalia Kanem (UNFPA Executive Director, USA); Valentina Baltag (WHO Adolescent Health lead, Switzerland); Luis Pedernera (UNCRC Committee Chair, Uruguay); Adesegun Fatusi (Guttmacher Institute; Nigeria); Eduardo Gotuzzo (“Alexander von Humboldt” Institute of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases, Peru), Didier Jourdan (UNESCO Chair Global Health & Education, France); Evelyn Eisenstein (Rio de Janeiro State University, Brazil), Jason Nagata (IAAH Young Professional Network co-chair, UCSF, USA) and many others. There will be a youth program, and additional programming specifically designed by – and for – young professionals in adolescent health.
