Join the IAAH World Congress Scientific or Abstract Review Committee
Dear Colleagues and Friends;
It’s an exciting time for us in the Caribbean as we start actively preparing to welcome you all to the shores of Jamaica for the 13th IAAH World Congress, 6-8 November 2025. We are writing to invite you to participate as a member of the Scientific Committee and/or the Abstract Review Committee.
We are looking for members who are willing to assist with developing and refining keynote, plenary sessions, workshops, and symposia sessions, and youth participation activities, as well as persons to help with reviewing submitted abstracts and workshop proposals. We sincerely hope that you will share your experience, knowledge, and expertise to help us create a memorable experience at the 13th IAAH World Congress for all attendees.
The committees will conduct our work in English; the official language of the congress will be English, with most sessions also in Spanish. We expect that the committees will be asked for written input several times over the coming months, and that we will have 3 or 4 conference calls or webinar meetings for these committees over the next 18 months as a part of program planning.
Our limited funds are prioritized for invited speakers. This means that planning committee members will not automatically receive travel or accommodation support for the meeting. However, we hope to raise as much support for leadership participation as possible and do hope that all of you will be able to attend the meeting itself.
